After three years of starting the production of CHIZA bags we made the most important change for our work that made more sense and gave the direction it has until now. We stopped using new fabrics and started to manufacture only with fabrics discarded from other manufactures as well as leftover materials from a pool cover company.
The challenge was to maintain the quality of the finishes, the silkscreen printing and the resistance of the bags. After several tests and adjustments, we achieved good results. From there we started a journey with no return to have as an absolute first choice the reuse of materials or secondhand materials and it has been a very fun experience of using creativity in every decision.
